Thank you for your interest in the art classes offered at Golden Arts Studio. You don't need to be an artist to enjoy them. As I have said many times, we are not creating art for the Louvre, so it's all about having fun and tapping into your creativity.

A class schedule is emailed every other month. However, if you have 2-5 friends who would like to schedule your own class, we can set a date for a private lesson.

September and October Art Classes at Golden Arts Studio

Hello Everyone!

Before I list the classes for the next two months, I want to remind you of a few upcoming

events. I have mentioned that my involvement at the Mountain Artists Guild has given me

the opportunity to chair the youth art program as well as serve on the Board. Recently

I volunteered to spearhead the annual fundraiser on Sunday, November 8 from 4-8 PM.

Tickets for the event go on sale September 1. You can purchase tickets through the

guild’s website at mountainartistsguild.org. If you believe in supporting local art programs,

want to have fun, and have an opportunity to bid on many amazing silent and live

auction items, please save Sunday, November 8 so that you attend this fun event

being held at the Club at Prescott Lakes. Tickets are $65 per person for dinner.

Before that event, the fall art show and sale will take place here on September 25 and 26. See the attached flyer. The week afterward is the ever-popular Prescott Area Studio Tour on

October 2, 3, and 4. Two other artists will be joining me, so be sure to stop by AND visit other

artists in their studios throughout the greater Prescott area that weekend. Signs will be well

posted and the comprehensive booklet will be available at each studio.

Tues., Oct. 13 Resin Demonstration 9:30 Free

Several of you have asked to see how I apply resin to alcohol ink tiles, so come by to see how it works. It won’t take more than an hour.

The classes typically last 3-3.5 hours. Email me if you are interested in signing up for a class and I will email you back to confirm. You don’t need to pay until you get here.

If you and a group of 3-5 friends want to schedule a private class some time, email me with some dates and we can set up a morning, afternoon, happy hour, weekend, whatever works!
